The first week of the Staff Blog. So I guess I will take this opportunity to fill you in on what is going on with my life. Life has been a little busier for me with the launching of this new website. But writing for the site has been enjoyable. I have my degree in journalism, so it’s nice to know that I’m at least using the education that I’m in debt now because of.

(Side note: Even though I was a journalism major, don’t judge me too harshly for my writing on here. Thanks.)

I know everyone says this, but this has been the fastest year of my life. I honestly am stunned that we are approaching May. I will use my next staff blog to reflect on this time in my internship, but for now I’ll just say that this year has been incredible, but so fast.

And approaching May means a few things: First, I am only a few weeks away from leading a group to Haiti! I am excited beyond words for this trip. We have an awesome group going down, and I just know God is going to do great things with this trip.

Also, the semester winding down means warm weather! As I write this, it is 70 degrees outside and I couldn’t be happier about that. So I’m off to go for a bike ride, and enjoy this beautiful day!
